    Salary Range: $65,461.50 – $68,211.00 (for fully licensed candidates: LCSW, LMHC) based upon degree and experience

     

    Limited Permit Salary: $58,617 (supervision provided)

     

    Sign-On Bonus: $1,250

     

    About the Role

     

    Unity House is seeking a compassionate and skilled Therapist to join our Personalized Recovery Oriented Services (PROS) team. PROS is a comprehensive, recovery-oriented program designed for individuals living with severe and persistent mental illness. Our integrated approach combines treatment, support, and rehabilitation to help participants achieve personal goals and greater independence.

     

    Participants in the PROS program work toward improving daily functioning, reducing hospitalizations, building community connections, securing employment, and pursuing education — all within a supportive and empowering environment.

    The following will all be considered for this position:

    Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner (CPRP), Creative Arts Therapist (LCAT and CAT-LP), Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC), Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT and MFT-LP), Occupational Therapist (OT-L and OT-LP), Registered Professional Nurse (RN), Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC), or Therapeutic Recreation Specialist

    Key Responsibilities

    + Maintain a caseload of program participants and provide individualized recovery services.

    + Facilitate daily group and individual therapeutic sessions.

    + Deliver targeted skills counseling within a psychiatric rehabilitation model.

    + Assist participants with securing benefits, housing, employment, and other essential needs.

    + Support participants in community integration and overall wellness.

    + Develop and maintain positive relationships with community partners.

    + Contribute to the design and delivery of new program curricula and activities.

    + Complete administrative documentation and reporting requirements accurately and on time.

    + Foster an inclusive, respectful, and recovery-oriented work culture.

    Qualifications

    + Required:

    + LCSW, LMHC, LMSW, or MHC-LP (clinical supervision provided for LMSW or MHC-LP).

    + Master’s-level experience providing individual therapeutic services.

    + Valid NYS driver’s license and reliable transportation.

    + Experience in mental health or substance abuse treatment settings.

    + Other acceptable degrees/license:

    + Certification or licensure in one of the following fields:

    + Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner (CPRP)

    + Creative Arts Therapist (LCAT or CAT-LP)

    + Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC)

    + Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT or MFT-LP)

    + Occupational Therapist (OT-L or OT-LP)

    + Registered Professional Nurse (RN)

    + Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC)

    + Therapeutic Recreation Specialist
