    Job Description:

    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Software Engineer to lead the design, development, and implementation of solutions within the NICE Actimize platform, with a primary focus on the Currency Transaction Reporting (CTR) module.

     

    The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical leadership, mentoring a team of engineers, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and compliant software solutions that meet business and regulatory requirements. This role requires deep expertise in the Actimize platform, strong software development skills, and a solid understanding of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and financial crime prevention.

    + Lead the full software development lifecycle for Actimize CTR solutions, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.

    + Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of software engineers, guiding them on best practices, code quality, and problem-solving.

    + Architect and design robust, scalable, and secure Actimize solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards and business objectives.

    + Develop and configure Actimize modules (RCM, AIS, ActOne) to meet specific CTR reporting and compliance needs.

    + Design and implement custom Actimize plugins, data models, and case management workflows to enhance and extend the platform's functionality.

    + Collaborate with business analysts, compliance officers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

    + Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and ensure the quality and performance of the team's deliverables.

    + Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to the Actimize platform and its integration with other systems.

    + Stay current with new technologies, industry trends, and Actimize platform updates to recommend and implement continuous improvements.

    + Create and maintain technical documentation, including system designs, flowcharts, and code comments.

    + Lead project teams, manage deliverables, and ensure timely completion of projects.Work closely with support teams to ensure good application health.

    + Oversee the integration of all systems, projects and technical interfaces to ensure a high level of service and support to the client and efficient system operation.

    + Foster an environment and culture that encourages productivity, innoWalkMevation, process improvement, teamwork, and a high level of professionalism.

    + Act as an escalation point for all risks and infrastructure issues affecting the platform, and for working to define and implement mitigation strategies.

    Education & Experience :

    + Undergraduate degree or Technical Certificate

    + Graduate degree, preferred

    + 10+ years related experience

    Preferred Qualification :

    + University degree, preferably in technology/engineering

    + At least 15 plus years of experience with designing and delivering large scale enterprise grade applications preferably in Financial Services

    + At least 7 years of demonstrated hands-on experience with NICE Actimize platform

    + Deep knowledge of Actimize tools including Actimize Risk Case Manager (RCM), Actimize Intelligence Server (AIS), and ActOne

    + Expertise on CTR Module including configuration, data integration, and report generation.

    + Understanding on Mantas and AML KYC Risk calculations, behavior detection Scenario logic and alert post processing logic is nice to have.

    + Strong proficiency in Java/J2EE. Experience with other languages like Python or JavaScript is a plus.

    + Expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, with experience in relational databases (Oracle), familiarity with Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting

    + Exposure to big data and analytics platforms on Hadoop or on data lake platforms on the public cloud is a big plus

    + Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), build tools (e.g., Maven, Gradle), and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins).

    + Experience working in an Agile development environment.

    + Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to forge strong relationships with key business partners, understand financial markets and regulation and apply analytics to drive commercial value with excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

    + Ability to work effectively in a high-stress environment and with minimal supervision.
