Job Title: Accounts Receivable Specialist

Work Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM EST

Overview:

Join one of the largest international law firms in the U.S. as an Accounts Receivable Specialist. This remote opportunity offers exposure to a high-performing AR team and the chance to contribute to a growing workload with potential for long-term extension or full-time conversion.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Process cash applications using Aderant software

+ Investigate and resolve unidentified or unapplied cash receipts

+ Respond to AR-related inquiries from billing, collections, and other internal teams

+ Manage and resolve tickets via ServiceNow

+ Assist with write-offs, reversals, and payment reallocations

+ Collaborate with the Collections team to apply pending and unallocated payments

+ Perform other AR-related duties as assigned

Must-Have Skills:

+ Minimum 2 years of Accounts Receivable experience

+ Strong proficiency in cash application processes

+ Familiarity with ServiceNow ticketing system

+ Solid skills in Microsoft Excel and 10-key operations

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Prior experience in legal industry AR

+ Experience with Aderant software

+ Ability to work independently in a remote environment

+ Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $39.00/hr.
