Job Title: Planner Scheduler

Job Description

+ The Planner Scheduler is responsible for creating and maintaining production schedules while ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement of necessary materials.

+ This involves analyzing inventory levels, forecasting demand, creating purchase orders, managing supplier relationships, and resolving procurement issues that could impact production.

+ The role requires close collaboration with production, engineering, and sales teams to meet delivery goals.

Responsibilities

+ Create and maintain production schedules.

+ Ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of materials.

+ Analyze inventory levels and forecast demand.

+ Create and manage purchase orders.

+ Manage and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.

+ Resolve procurement issues that could impact production.

+ Collaborate with production, engineering, and sales teams to meet delivery goals.

Essential Skills

+ 2-5 years of experience in a related role.

+ Experience in inventory control, materials scheduling, and production planning.

+ Proficiency with ERP systems; experience with NetSuite is a plus.

+ Strong background in procurement and supply chain management.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Manufacturing experience is strongly preferred.

+ Ability to work in a chaotic environment while maintaining composure.

+ Openness to learning the buying aspect if lacking experience.

Work Environment

+ The work environment is situated in a very old building, built in 1905, which needs improvements.

+ The team is small and reports to the production supervisor.

+ The role offers flexible shifts from Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with no weekend work.

+ The company is experiencing rapid growth and is part of a private-equity backed, pandemic-proof industry, providing stable and reliable solutions for water management.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
