Job Title: Human Resources Specialist
Job Description
We are seeking a proactive 2nd shift Human Resources Specialist to support a wide range of people operations and employee engagement initiatives.
Responsibilities
+ Drive recruitment efforts, from job postings to onboarding.
+ Lead orientation sessions and coordinate employee training.
+ Manage employee leave programs and benefits administration.
+ Support employee relations, including investigations and performance documentation.
+ Organize internal events and community outreach activities.
+ Oversee payroll processing, timekeeping, and compliance reporting.
+ Maintain accurate HR records and generate workforce reports.
Essential Skills
+ 2+ years of experience in human resources.
+ Solid understanding of HR practices and employment laws.
+ Strong communication and organizational skills.
+ High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
+ Flexibility to support multiple shifts if needed.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in employee relations, recruiting, HR systems, and payroll.
+ Strong customer service and data entry skills.
+ Knowledge of employee benefits and human resource management.
Work Environment
This position is based in an office/manufacturing environment, with a shift from Monday to Friday, 3 PM to 11 PM. The role requires flexibility to support additional shifts when needed. Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Georgetown, Kentucky.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
