Join Our Team in Lehi as an Inbound Patient Access Specialist! About the Role

Are you passionate about making healthcare more accessible and affordable? As an Inbound Patient Access Specialist, you’ll be the compassionate voice guiding patients through the complexities of pharmacy benefits and drug savings programs. You’ll be on the front lines of patient advocacy—resolving issues with empathy, efficiency, and a commitment to one-call resolution.

What You’ll Do

+ Be the first point of contact for patients, providers, and pharmacies via phone, email, and other channels.

+ Educate members on their pharmacy benefits and help them access life-saving medications through various savings programs.

+ Resolve inquiries related to enrollment in drug savings programs with a focus on first-call resolution.

+ Coordinate with physicians, drug manufacturers, and pharmacies to streamline the patient experience.

+ Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with HIPAA and PHI standards.

+ Stay up to date on all patient access programs and internal policies to deliver world-class service.

+ Thrive in a fast-paced environment while juggling multiple cases and maintaining high productivity.

What You Bring

+ Experience in healthcare customer service, insurance verification, pharmacy, or patient access roles.

+ Strong communication skills and a patient-first mindset.

+ Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.

+ A sense of urgency, empathy, and a drive to solve problems quickly and thoroughly.

+ Familiarity with prior authorizations, patient scheduling, or medical reception is a plus.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $47840.00 - $47840.00/yr.
