    Position Summary:

    Alamo Group Inc. has some of the most recognized and successful vegetation, outdoor power equipment, and agriculture brands in the market. In the Customer Service II under direct supervision, is responsible for inputting customer parts and machine orders, assisting with parts planning and availability coordination, researching order information, answering phones, and assisting customers with order and general product questions for dealers representing Bush Hog, Dixie Chopper, and Rhino Ag brands.

     

    The Incentives Admin manages the retail incentives and salesperson bonus for dealership salespeople, and is responsible for accurately calculating, tracking, and distributing incentive compensation payments to Dealers based on predetermined metrics. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments to ensure timely and accurate compensation administration.

    Essential Functions of the Job:

    + Focus, communicate, encourage and contribute to Safety in all aspects of the job and all company meetings

    + Provide prompt and courteous customer service by phone and in person

    + Must have advanced knowledge of Excel

    + Process incentives: Accurately process and issue various types of incentives, such as rebates, bonuses, promotional credits, or rewards, according to established company policies and procedures

    + Verify eligibility: Confirm that Dealer meet all the criteria for the incentive program by reviewing their accounts, transaction history, and associated data

    + Handle financial transactions: Manage the payment of incentives through approved methods

    + Investigate and resolve issues: Handle customer inquiries and complaints related to incentive payouts, payment delays, or eligibility disputes

    + Maintain meticulous records: Keep detailed and accurate records of all customer interactions, incentive requests, and payouts

    + Communicate with customers: Clearly and professionally communicate with customers via phone, or email confirm eligibility, and provide updates on payment status

    + Ensure compliance: Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as relevant financial regulations, to ensure the secure and compliant processing of customer funds

    + Collaborate with other departments: Work with accounting, credit or other internal teams to troubleshoot complex payment issues and improve the overall process for future incentive programs

    + Fraud detection: Be vigilant in identifying and escalating any potentially fraudulent activities or suspicious transactions related to incentives

    + Document and report: Create and archive daily reports related to transactions and provide feedback on trends or potential improvements to the incentive process

    + Perform other duties as directed by Supervisor

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA’s):

    + Great communication skills, both verbal and written, speak effectively to customers or employees of organization

    + Excellent computer data entry, retrieval and analysis skills

    + Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals

    + Able to reason and use good judgment

    + Able to organize and prioritize work, meet deadlines and work under pressure

    + Able to work overtime as needed, especially during peak business season

    Education and Experience:

    + High school diploma or GED Certificate is required

    + 3+ years customer service experience or proficiency as AGAA Customer Service Representative
