    Career Opportunity: Customer Service Representative

     

    We are seeking a reliable and detailed-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer support to our customers, managing the billing processes, and assisting with inventory management/coordination. The ideal candidate is organized, communicative, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

    How you will impact Smurfit WestRock:

    * Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in person with professionalism and care.

    * Process customer billing, issue invoices, and resolve billing discrepancies.

    * Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock management.

    * Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.

    * Assist with production scheduling, shipments, and preparing the necessary documentation.

    * Support continuous improvement initiatives related to customer service and inventory accuracy.

    * Document customer interactions and maintain up to date records in our system.

    * Identify and escalate issues to the appropriate departments when necessary.

    * Support general office tasks and contribute to a positive team environment.

    * Ability to fill in for Customer Service Manager as necessary

    What you need to succeed:

    * Previous experience in customer service, billing, or inventory management preferred.

    * Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

    * Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel, comfortable learning new software.

    * Detail-orientated with strong organizational and multitasking abilities

    * Ability to maintain a calm and professional demeanor.
