Role Overview

The Data Center Technician will oversee GPU cluster deployments and data center operations in a hyperscale environment. This includes hands-on server and switch installations, advanced troubleshooting, team leadership, and project coordination.

Key Responsibilities

+ Perform Level 1 & 2 tasks: rack/stack, cabling, server prep, firmware updates, break-fix, GPU deployment.

+ Lead and mentor deployment teams.

+ Act as liaison between team and management.

+ Manage multiple projects and ensure alignment with data center standards.

+ Provide escalation support and advanced troubleshooting.

+ Coordinate with other teams for builds and escalations.

Required Experience & Skills

+ 4+ years in a hyperscale data center.

+ Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, server hardware, and GPU deployment.

+ Experience with fiber optic, Cat5/Cat6 cabling, and rack & stack.

+ Familiarity with ticketing systems, ITIL, and project management.

+ Ability to lift 35 lbs, climb ladders, and wear PPE.

Preferred Certifications & Skills

+ CompTIA A+/Server+, CCENT/CCNA, MCP/MSCE.

+ Project Management Certification (PMP, PRINCE2).

+ Scripting: PowerShell, Python, Bash.

+ OSHA30+, Windows OS experience.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $45.00/hr.
