• W2 Only Senior Java Developer

    TEKsystems (Farmers Branch, TX)


    One of TEKsystems financial clients is looking for Senior level Java developers with Kafka experience to support their Security and Infrastructure applications.

     

    W2 candidates only that do not require sponsorship now or any point in the future.

     

    This role will be responsible for leading the design, development, and deployment of scalable web applications using modern front-end and back-end technologies. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in React.js, Angular, Java (8+), Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs, with a strong understanding of microservices architecture, OAuth/SSO, and relational databases such as SQL and Oracle.

     

    This team helps support the Security and Infrastructure applications across the bank.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Lead the full software development lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.

     

    Architect and develop scalable front-end applications using React.js and Angular.

     

    Design and implement robust back-end services using Java 8+, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs.

     

    Integrate authentication and authorization mechanisms using OAuth and Single Sign-On (SSO).

     

    Build and maintain microservices-based systems with a focus on performance, scalability, and reliability.

     

    Work with RDBMS technologies including SQL Server and Oracle to design and optimize data models.

     

    Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and enforce best practices in coding and architecture.

     

    Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, QA, and DevOps to deliver high-quality software.

     

    Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the stack.

     

    Stay current with emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions to improve system performance and maintainability.

    Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

    Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $65.00/hr.
