DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Support the evolution and development of the data risk strategy, including the build of key features related to the governance and controls for AI/ML requirements. Lead the design and development of product features required to meet the firm's data risk requirements. Work with business, compliance, and legal to build features to maintain a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap using Agile methodology. Collaborate with tech engineering teams to build and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines leveraging Python and SQL. Define and develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of business controls required to mitigate any data risks. Create and maintain dashboards on Qlik Sense, Excel, and reports to provide real-time insights to stakeholders highlighting key risk and operational metrics required by business to ensure that the data is not breaching any of the risk controls as per the control procedures. Lead the data analytics team to analyze large datasets on AWS Cloud and generate actionable insights. Utilize advanced analytical techniques and tools to uncover trends and opportunities for the business to predict upcoming issues which help the firm design and develop any product enhancements required to mitigate risks. Design business workflows leveraging technical skills to ensure accurate data destruction across information assets so that the firm can comply with regulation requirements such as GDPR. Lead an effort working with in-house and vendor products utilizing regular expressions and NLP technologies to achieve automated or recommended data classifiers for structured and unstructured data. Communicate with senior management regarding project progress, recommendations, and decisions. Develop effective presentations and project update materials suitable for senior executive governance councils. Work with product owners and software engineers to productionize the AI/ML models and partner closely with business stakeholders. Data governance establishing policies and procedures to ensure the proper management, data quality, and protection of data across the organization. Data risk management focusing on identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks associated with data transformation, loading, and usage to protect the organization from potential data breaches or compliance issues.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Business Analytics, Information Management, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field of study plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or as Data Management, Compliance Data Lead, Associate/Assistant Consultant, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires experience with the following: Data risk management tools including Microsoft Information Protection (MIP) for data quality, protection, privacy, retention, and destruction, and Collibra for data lineage and usage; Collaborating with compliance, technology, risk, and product teams in an Agile environment, maintaining JIRA hygiene and backlog; Developing data governance metrics, KPIs, and dashboards using Tableau and Alteryx; SQL and Python for data querying and analysis, and data processing using AWS; Working with data management frameworks and regulations including BCBS239 and GDPR; Conveying complex technical information clearly to senior leadership and non-technical audiences; and leveraging machine learning tools, including NLP and regular expressions, to develop rules engines for data classification.

Job Location: 575 Washington Blvd, Jersey City, NJ 07310. This position requires up to 10% domestic and international travel to other JPMC sites.
Full-Time. Salary: $187,000 - $205,000 per year.
