Our client is a cutting-edge biopharmaceutical organization advancing the boundaries of complex drug development, this firm specializes in creating high-quality, affordable therapeutic solutions is seeking a Facilities Technician to join their growing team! The Facilities Technician will be responsible for maintaining and supporting facility and equipment operations within a GMP biotechnology manufacturing environment. This role focuses equally on (1) facility and utility systems—such as HVAC, boilers, chillers, and freezers—and (2) ensuring the reliable operation of critical process equipment, including bioreactors, table-top shakers, and related lab and production instruments.

Contract to hire
**Pay:** $33-40/hour
Key Responsibilities
+ Perform routine and emergency maintenance on facility systems, including **HVAC, boilers, chillers, air compressors, and cold storage units** (freezers, refrigerators, incubators).
+ Monitor and maintain **building utilities** and **environmental control systems** to support GMP production areas.
+ Conduct **preventive maintenance** and calibration checks on **bioreactors, shakers, centrifuges, pumps, and supporting lab or process equipment** .
+ Troubleshoot equipment and system issues to minimize downtime and ensure uninterrupted operations.
+ Support installation, qualification, and commissioning of new or upgraded equipment and utilities.
+ Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with **GMP, SOPs, and company policies** .
+ Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering to ensure compliance and equipment readiness.
+ Participate in after-hours or weekend on-call rotations as needed to support 24/7 facility operations.
Qualifications
+ **Minimum High School Diploma required.**
+ **Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience** in facilities or equipment maintenance within a **GMP-regulated biotech, biopharma, or pharmaceutical** environment.
+ Hands-on experience with **HVAC systems, chillers, boilers, and cold storage** equipment.
+ Strong working knowledge of **bioreactors, shakers, and related laboratory/process systems** .
+ Familiarity with **GMP documentation, calibration, and validation principles** .
+ Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, and equipment manuals.
+ Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills.
