Job Title: Companion Caregiver

Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate, friendly, and empathetic individual to join our team as a Companion. As a Companion, you will provide emotional support, companionship, and assistance to individuals who may be elderly, disabled, or facing challenges in their daily lives. The role involves building a meaningful and supportive relationship, ensuring clients feel valued, heard, and safe.

Responsibilities:

+ Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversation.

+ Accompany clients to appointments, outings, or errands.

+ Offer emotional support and help alleviate feelings of loneliness or isolation.

+ Foster an environment of trust and mutual respect.

+ Observe and report any changes in the client's condition or behavior to the designated family members or healthcare providers.

+ Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of clients.

Qualifications:

+ Compassionate, empathetic, and a good listener.

+ Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to form lasting, positive relationships.

+ Ability to handle sensitive and personal situations with discretion.

+ Experience in caregiving or a related field is a plus but not required.

+ Ability to stay calm and composed in challenging situations.

+ Reliable transportation (if required for outings or appointments).

+ High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).

+ No Certificate Required

Skills:

+ Excellent communication skills.

+ Patience and problem-solving abilities.

+ Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

+ Light housekeeping or meal prep experience is a plus.
