Northrop Grumman is seeking a Software Development Analyst to support Sentinel. The position will deploy, research, support, customize, and maintain the suite of commercial and open source applications used by Software and Systems Engineering. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Chief Information and Digital Office support team in Roy, UT.
**Note:** Due to the classified nature of the work being performed, this position does not offer any virtual or telecommute working options. Applicants are encouraged to apply, only if they are willing to work on-site.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
+ Configure, deploy and administer commercial and open source software
+ Maintain strong expertise and knowledge of current and emerging technologies and products.
+ Provide best practice, recommendations and guidance to manage SSLM operations at scale
+ Implement a configuration management solution
+ Scripting for DevOps processes
+ Server Configuration
+ CI/CD Automation
+ Docker container deployment
This position may filled at a higher level based on the qualifications listed below.
Basic Qualifications for Level 2:
+ Master's Degree with 0 years of relevant experience; OR a Bachelor's Degree with 2 years of relevant experience; OR an Associate's Degree with 4 years of relevant experience; OR a High School diploma (or equivalent) with 6 years of relevant experience is required
+ Candidates must have a current DOD **Top Secret** level security clearance (at a minimum) in order to be considered
+ Candidates must have the ability to obtain, and maintain, access to **Special Programs** as a condition of continued employment
+ Must have a **DOD 8140** Security+ CE certification (or greater) to be considered
+ Experience with Windows and UNIX/Linux operating systems
+ Experience with Server/Client SW installation

+ Internet Information Services (IIS) experience
+ Apache experience
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Experience with Oracle Primavera EPPM
+ Experience deploying applications/updates using MECM/MCM
+ Experience with Oracle database
+ Experience with IIS
+ Experience in ticket management using Service Now and Jira
+ Previous experience in configuration and deployment of SSO for web and server based applications
+ Load Balancers: Apache, HA Proxy experience desired
+ Exposure to web-based software development or operations
+ Exposure to Cloud technologies
+ Understanding of development, web operations, SDLC, etc
+ Scripting languages: Python, PowerShell, or JavaScript
+ Experience with Postgres and MS SQL Server

Primary Level Salary Range: $77,200.00 - $115,800.00
Secondary Level Salary Range: $95,300.00 - $142,900.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
