Position Overview
The CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) Administrator is a multifaceted role supporting various aspects of the maintenance function at the Burlington distribution center. The administrator is responsible for the ordering, receipting, stocking, and distribution of parts in a timely manner. They will manage and record all preventative maintenance and repair work orders in the CMMS computer system. They are responsible for keeping an accurate inventory system within the maintenance shop, including conveyor and automation components and parts, rolling stock parts, and all maintenance tools and supplies.
SHIFT: DAY-DAY TIME-TIME (Monday-Friday.)
A Day In The Life
+ Maintain the CMMS program with all DC material handling equipment, maintenance records, and equipment records
+ Manage parts cage inventory by performing cycle counts, tracking parts usage, and restocking parts as required
+ Plans maintenance work by identifying necessary parts, manpower and equipment for work orders and projects
+ Producing status reports, spreadsheets, and documents giving summaries and details of maintenance performance and activities
+ Supports maintenance activities using the CMMS system to ensure proper planning and scheduling of all work orders, tasks, projects, and purchasing activities
+ Manages and optimizes parts cage inventory, parts utilization, and procurement of replacement parts when used and in advance of field need
+ Manages vendor and supplier relationships to order necessary parts and equipment in a cost-effective and timely manner
+ Develop strong business relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure Burlington receives proper priority for service and parts
+ Ensures MHE and rolling stock history records are updated in terms of equipment performance, equipment/parts/labor utilization and costs incurred
+ Use CMMS system to manage maintenance activities and cost reporting for routine work and outages
+ Create Value-added reporting including KPI’s and Monthly Reporting Metrics
+ Support new business initiatives and special projects as required
+ Collaboratively work with other business partners
+ Seek out process efficiencies and improvements
+ Other responsibilities and duties as the role requires per discretion of the Maintenance Manager
You'll Come With
+ High school diploma or equivalent required
+ 1+ years of experience in a distribution, manufacturing facility, heavy industrial, and/or maintenance environment required.
+ Experience working in a distribution maintenance operation preferred
+ 1+ years of experience Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) software experience preferred
+ Strong knowledge and proficiency in the use of CMMS software
+ Experience specifying and ordering parts is preferred.
+ Experience managing or coordinating a parts storeroom is preferred
+ Experience with Maintenance Planning/Scheduling is preferred.
+ Demonstrated ability to analyze and evaluate technical data and communicate results in layman’s terms.
+ Thorough knowledge of maintenance activities including preventative maintenance, planning/scheduling, etc.
+ Knowledge of occupational hazards and standard safety practices.
+ Working knowledge of procurement systems and work processes /activities to support DC Maintenance department needs.
+ Must be able to prioritize, schedule, and logistically support multiple job functions and projects in a fast-paced environment.
+ Must be able to work independently and make independent decisions, with minimal supervision.
+ Ability to comprehend written, graphic, and quantitative information.
+ Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
+ Strong time management skills.
+ Strong analytical skills.
+ Strong interpersonal skills. Must be able to work well with employees, vendors, and outside contractors.

**Physical** **Requirement** **s** (must be able to perform with or without reasonable accommodation)
+ At least 50% of the time, sit at desk for long periods of time; intermittently twisting to reach equipment surrounding desk; 50% of time spent organizing and cycle counting parts cage inventory
+ Perform simple grasping and fine manipulation; use telephone, and use a keyboard to communicate through written means; and lift or carry weight of 40-50 lbs.
+ Must be able to work flexible work hours and overtime when needed.
+ Must be able to wear personal protective equipment as appropriate.
+ Must be able to work around or near hazardous chemicals and exposure to dust.
+ Ability to regularly work in and be exposed to outside weather elements (i.e. rain, snow, cold, heat).
+ Ability to move freely around the distribution center environment.
+ Must be able to ascend to and position self to work at high elevations when necessary and required.
