AEP is seeking talented and motivated Risk and Reliability Analyst Associate

What You'll Do:

+ Maintain the list of existing/potential risks that need to be analyzed.

+ Assist in gathering, reviewing and documenting internal and external data associated with the identified risks.

+ Assist in documenting the Operating Company risks per the corporate standards.

+ Assist with diagnosis of trouble, mis-operation, or damage of equipment and assist with corrective action to affect repair and prevent recurrence.

+ Assist in the analysis of potential and/or existing risks for the Operating Company.

+ Working with the risk champions and other SME when appropriate.

+ Assist in scrubbing outage data and outage analysis review process.

+ Assist in gathering, reviewing, and reporting reliability performance to Operating Company leadership as needed.

What We're Looking For:

+ Minimal travel will be required in this role (5%-10%).

+ Must exhibit strong interpersonal skills; ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.

+ Demonstrated ability to successfully interact with a diverse set of internal and external stakeholders is required.

+ Demonstrated ability of providing work direction and guidance to other employees.

+ Demonstrated ability to function as a project leader and technical expert as required.

+ Must have a firm understanding of the risk evaluation and distribution operations process.

+ Ability to use MS Office products to develop reports and presentations.

+ Experience with a query tool such as Cognos, SAS, Business Objects, SQL, etc. would be a plus.

$85,081 - $127,624

Minimum of six (6) years' experience in distribution planning and operations.

$61,647.00-77,057.50 USD
