Work Hours
This position requires working a 12-hour rotating shift in a 24-hour, 7-day-per-week operation, including holidays. A 15% shift differential is included.
Job Description
Summary
Operates equipment used to manufacture products. Weighs, measures and checks raw materials to ensure that batches manufactured contain proper ingredients in proper quantities. Fully trained to and proficient at manufacturing drug product injectables in a cleanroom environment and following GMP standards. Autonomously run equipment, pumps, and automated systems and collaborate with team members to ensure it's right the first time and on schedule. Performs operations in Support Services, Upstream, Downstream, and Fill/Finish workstreams following SOPs and Batch records and recommending improvements.
Responsibilities
+ Complete work instructions while aligning with procedures and cGMP regulations.
+ Maintain and update batch records and data sheets accurately.
+ Operate and monitor equipment and automated systems.
+ Maintain inventory records of raw materials used in production.
+ Inspect finished products to ensure they meet specifications.
+ Support timely closure of Nonconformance’s/ CAPAs.
+ Identify and communicate items that are critical issues.
+ Actively participate in safety initiatives.
Education/Experience/Equivalency
+ High School Diploma or equivalent experience in STEM/Biotechnology preferred.
+ An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Knowledge, skills and Abilities
+ Proficient in aseptic operations and cleanroom concepts.
+ Requires keen attention to detail and the ability to adhere to guidelines.
+ Capable of working effectively in a team environment.
+ Familiarity with effective Manufacturing processes and pharmaceutical protocols.
Physical Requirements
+ Regularly stand, handle objects, reach, and talk or hear.
+ Walk, stoop, kneel, and climb ladders up to 50% of the time.
+ Push, pull, or lift up to 50 lbs.
+ Adjust focus and perform close vision tasks.
