Role Overview
We’re seeking a Senior Software Engineer with 8+ years of experience in .NET Core, C#, and AWS to design and build scalable, cloud-native applications. This hybrid role focuses on serverless architecture, ETL workflows, and performance optimization. Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong backend development skills, cloud proficiency, and a commitment to engineering excellence.

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring some days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Fort Mill, SC. Key Responsibilities
+ Design, develop, and maintain applications using .NET Core and C#
+ Build and deploy serverless applications using AWS Lambda
+ Monitor and troubleshoot applications using AWS CloudWatch and Kibana
+ Develop and manage ETL workflows using AWS Glue
+ Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines
+ Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and performance tuning
+ Ensure best practices in security, scalability, and maintainability
Required Qualifications
+ 8+ years of experience in software development with a focus on .NET technologies
+ Strong proficiency in .NET Core and C#
+ Proven experience with AWS services: Lambda, CloudWatch, Glue, and Kibana
+ Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud-native architecture
+ Familiarity with Git, CI/CD tools, and Agile methodologies
+ Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between: **120,500 - 141,500k** depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
