Job Description

Cognizant is seeking an experienced developer with 12 years of experience with: -

- Expertise in Python programming with a good understanding of other modern programming languages (Java, C#)

- Experience in developing full-stack applications using React.js and Typescript

- Experience in building applications using Rest API architecture, including Auth Flows, Encryption, and Observability

- Experience in building and deploying GenAI, Agentic AI applications using either MCP, LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, autogen, Azure AI Foundry

- Developing solutions using RAG architecture patterns and vector databases utilizing Azure AI Services, FAISS, etc.

- Proficiency in GitHub Copilot for accelerated development and an understanding of Copilot Studio

- Fundamental understanding of AI/ML models and prompt engineering

- Knowledge of SDLC processes, CI/CD Pipelines, and container orchestration

**Primary Required Skills** - - Python, React.js, Typescript

**Secondary Required Skils** -- GenAI, Agentic AI, MCP, LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, autogen, Azure AI Foundry, Copilot Studio

**Nice to Have Skills** - - Java, C #

**Additional Qualifications** :

+ Possess strong expertise in prompt designing semantic search and vector databases.

+ Demonstrate proficiency in large language models and Langchain technologies.

+ Have a deep understanding of prompt engineering and knowledge graph applications.

+ Exhibit extensive experience in the electronic payments domain.

+ Show ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model with a focus on day shifts.

+ Display excellent communication and collaboration skills.

+ Hold a degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $98,000/Year to $140,000/Year depending on the experience and other qualifications of the candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
