Facets Benefits and Claims Configuration Lead

About the role

As a Facets Benefits and Claims Configuration Lead, you will make an impact by leading the design, configuration, and testing of scalable solutions within the Facets platform. You will be a valued member of our healthcare technology team and work collaboratively across business and technical stakeholders to ensure accurate claims processing and benefit configuration aligned with organizational goals.

In this role, you will:

+ Lead configuration design activities for Facets Claims and Benefits based on approved business requirements.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, product, network, care management, and technology) to define scalable and reusable configuration solutions.

+ Participate in global and detailed design sessions, providing strategic insights and configuration expertise.

+ Direct daily configuration activities and ensure documentation is prepared, reviewed, and approved.

+ Support development of business requirements and process re-engineering initiatives through the lens of Facets functionality.

+ Develop and execute configuration test plans and manage user acceptance testing.

+ Create clear written and oral communication materials to summarize findings and support recommendations.

What you need to have to be considered:

+ Minimum 6 years of experience with Facets Claims and Benefits configuration, including design, implementation, and testing.

+ Proven ability to translate business requirements into actionable configuration deliverables.

+ Strong understanding of healthcare operations and systems.

+ Demonstrated leadership in configuration projects and team direction.

+ Experience in test case development and execution, including user acceptance testing.

+ Excellent communication and documentation skills.

These will help you stand out:

+ Experience supporting business process re-engineering aligned with Facets capabilities.

+ Ability to provide configuration thought leadership and mentor team members.

+ Familiarity with scalable solution design and reusable configuration frameworks.

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applicants will be accepted till 11/17/2025

The annual salary for this position will be in the range of $113K-$132K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
