Human Resources Assistant – Recruitment Support

The Iowa Veterans Home (IVH) is seeking atemporaryHuman Resources Assistant to help us grow our team by supporting recruitment and outreach efforts — with a special focus on nursing and leadership roles. In this role, you’ll represent IVH at career fairs, college events, and community outreach efforts.

* Nursing background is preferred, but not required

Minimum Qualification Requirements
Applicants must meet at least one of the following minimum requirements to qualify for positions in this job classification:
+ Two years of full-time work experience performing administrative support work.
+ A total of two years of education and/or full-time experience (as described in number one), where 30 semester hours of accredited post-high school course work equals one year of full-time experience.
+ Current, continuous experience in the state executive branch that includes experience equal to one year of full-time administrative support work in a human resources-related program area.
