Job Description

The SpecialEducation Teacher provides high-quality instruction and support to studentswith diverse learning needs in grades K–12. Under the direction of the SpecialEducation Program Administrator, this role involves delivering specializedinstruction, offering tutorial assistance, and collaborating with generaleducation staff to ensure student success.

We currentlyhave three openings across different grade levels. This is an in-personposition with immediate start availability.

Responsibilities

+ Provide individualized instruction to students with special needs

+ Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with the team

+ Offer tutorial support and consult with general education teachers

+ Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all regulations

+ Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment

Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university (preferred)

+ Valid Indiana teaching certificate (required)

+ Minimum one year of teaching experience (preferred)

+ Preferred certifications:

+ Standard Elementary Teaching

+ Standard Secondary Teaching

+ Standard Special Teaching

+ Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) endorsement

+ Current CPR certification (if applicable)

+ TB questionnaire, PPD test, or chest x-ray (if applicable)

+ Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

+ Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements

+ Must be at least 18 years of age
