    Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) | $40/hr | Full-Time | Stafford, Texas | Middle & High School | In-Person | Through May 2026

     

    Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to support middle and high school students within Stafford, Texas Schools. This in-person role begins as soon as possible and runs through May 31, 2026.

    Position Overview:

    + Location: Stafford, TX (Stafford MSD)

    + Start Date: ASAP

    + End Date: May 31, 2026

    + Schedule: Monday–Friday, 37.5 hours/week

    + Pay Rate: $40/hr

    + Modality: In-person only

    + Grade Levels: Middle School & High School

    + Caseload: 40 students (projected to grow)

    + Supervision: Provided by an Amergis SLP

    + Interview Format: Virtual or in-person

    Responsibilities:

    + Assist the supervising SLP in delivering speech and language services

    + Support clinical, educational, documentation, and treatment activities

    + Work within the scope of the plan of care developed by the SLP and/or physician

    + Maintain accurate records and comply with district and state documentation standards

    Minimum Requirements:

    + Associate’s degree from an SLPA program or bachelor’s degree in speech-language pathology or communication disorders

    + Minimum of 100 hours of supervised fieldwork or equivalent clinical experience

    + Current SLPA certification or licensure in Texas

    + One year of SLPA experience preferred

    + TB clearance, health certificate, and fingerprinting as required

    + Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

    + Must be at least 18 years of age
