• Echo Cardiographer Technician

    Amergis (Waterloo, IA)


    Salary: $1246 / Week

     

    Under general supervision, performs vascular andechocardiography ultrasound examinations for patients. Participates in a variety of specializedtechnical evaluation procedures, including analyzing digitized electrocardiography(ECG) tapes, Holter monitoring, cardiac ultrasound and echocardiography, andgenerating quantitative arrhythmia reports.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + 2 years experience in Echo/vascular diagnostics

    + No 1st time traveler, must have completed at least 1 travel contract in the past 12 months

    + Pediatric case experience encouraged

    + may be required to work between the Clinic & Main Hospital.

    + TEE experience

    + Phillips & GE equipment experience

    Shift Notes:

    Days: 8 hr shifts, AM start; will be required to work between the Clinic & Main Hospital - 40 hrs/week

    Pay breakdown:

    Travel: $36/hr; Housing: $770 Meals: $476 = $2,686/ weekly

     

    Radius rule: min. 50 miles, no locals

     

    + EMR: EPIC

    + OT/Holiday: 1.15x multiplier

    + Call Back: 1.5x multiplier with 2 hr CB minimum

    + On Call: $9/hr

    Billable OT:

    + 36-40 hrs/week, OT billable after 40

    + 48 hrs/week, OT billable after 48

    On Call Requirements:

    one weeknight of call per week and one weekend of call every 5th weekend

    Certification Requirements:

    + RCS

    + RDCS

    2025 Holiday Requirements:

    Winter holidays: Required to work 2 of 3 (Christmas, New Years, or Thanksgiving)

     

    Limit of 1 day request off between 11/26/25-11/30/25 and 12/23/25-1/2/26 for all travelers regardless of holidays worked.
