• Surgical Technician

    Amergis (Syracuse, NY)


    Salary: $2530 / Week

     

    The Surgical Technician/Tissue Processing Technician isresponsible for the sterilization of surgical equipment, arrange surgicalequipment and adjust medical tools to ensure that the surgical devices arefunctioning properly.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + Surgical Technologist certification as applicable per stateand/or client requirement

    + One year experience as a Surgical Technician preferred(Tissue Processing Technologist – only)

    + Degree in biology related field which includes a degree /certification as a Surgical Technologist preferred

    + Current CPR if applicable

    + TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

    + Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)

    + Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

    + Must be at least 18 years of age

     

    Lookingfor Surgical Techs who have 3 years of recent experience in a level 1 traumacenter. Shifts will be 8 hours. No option for only 12-hour shifts. Should haveexperience with ortho, general, ENT, vascular, GYN cases. Must be certified.
