Overview:
We are actively seeking a passionate and qualified Special Education Teacher to join a supportive school team in the Milwaukee area. This full-time position spans from now through the end of the school year in June and may involve working with students from elementary through high school, depending on placement.
Responsibilities:
+ Deliver individualized instruction and support to students with disabilities.
+ Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with families and school teams.
+ Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
+ Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and district regulations.
+ Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
Qualifications:
+ Valid Wisconsin DPI license in Special Education.
+ Experience with a range of student needs and grade levels (elementary to high school).
+ Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
+ Commitment to equity and inclusive education.
