• School Behavior Technician - Flexible Schedule

    Salary: $23 / Hour

     

    Behavior Technician – $20–$25/hr

     

    Make a meaningful impact every day. We're seeking dedicated Behavior Technicians to support children and adults with special needs in educational and behavioral settings. You’ll collaborate closely with school professionals and behavioral specialists to help individuals reach their learning and behavioral goals.

    What You’ll Do:

    + Follow guidance from BCBAs, teachers, and supervisors

    + Apply behavior management strategies including prevention, intervention, and consequences

    + Provide crisis intervention when needed

    + Implement behavior intervention plans and ABA goals from IEPs

    + Support academic instruction and therapy plans (SLP, OT, PT)

    + Accurately document sessions and collect behavioral/academic data

    + Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA standards

    + Assist with daily living skills like toileting, hygiene, and dressing routines

    + Support students across various environments (classroom, playground, gym, etc.)

    + Perform other duties as needed

    What You’ll Need:

    + High school diploma or equivalent (required)

    + At least 2 years of pediatric experience (preferred)

    + Completion of Amergis' Competency program (if applicable)

    + CPR certification, TB screening, and health certificate (as required)

    + Compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations

    + Strong communication skills and English proficiency

    + Computer literacy

    + Must be 18 years or older
