Salary: $1995 / Week

Occupational Therapist – School-Based (Escondido, CA)

Start Date: ASAP – June 10, 2026

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Hours: 40 hours/week

Setting: In-person only, across multiple school sites (typically one site per day; occasional travel between sites may be required)

Grade Levels: Elementary and Middle School

Caseload: 55–65 students

Classroom Environment: Special Education classrooms

Compensation

+ Local Pay Rate: $68/hr

Requirements

+ Active California Occupational Therapist (CA OT) license

+ Minimum 1 year of professional OT experience preferred

+ Prior school-based experience strongly preferred

+ Must be at least 18 years of age

+ CPR certification (if applicable)

+ TB clearance (questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray)

+ Current health certificate (as required by contract or state regulation)

+ Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements

Responsibilities

+ Conduct student evaluations

+ Develop and implement individualized therapy plans

+ Provide direct therapy services

+ Maintain accurate documentation in alignment with student care plans

+ Collaborate with educators and support staff to promote student success
