Position Overview
This position is responsible to provide operational support in remediation efforts for clients. Qualified candidates must demonstrate competency on large and complex fire damage projects, must be proficient at assisting estimators with scopes of work, expand capabilities including reading blue prints and plans, sizing and setting temporary power, installing shrink wrap, and including building HVAC systems in solution options. Advanced specialists are key trainers of basic and intermediate specialists. Training may be OJT or classroom environments. Elite advanced Fire Damage Specialists may become candidates for either the Project Management track or the Estimator track of career development. This position is the level 4 in the Progressive Fire Damage track.
Responsibilities
+ Coordinate a crew of unskilled laborers, skilled laborers and BELFOR Team members and keep them on task and working towards a defined objective
+ Safely remove debris from affected structure/property without damaging un-affected areas of the property while maintaining a clean and safe jobsite
+ Design, install and maintain containments (un-pressurizes and pressurized)
+ Demonstrate ability to answer all questions related to the project or defer to more experienced member of the team.
+ Perform Daily vehicle safety and maintenance inspections and maintain in clean serviceable condition
+ Must maintain attention to detail
+ Will be required to meet BELFOR Standards in safeguarding other people's property
+ Must have a comprehensive understanding of customer service, principles and practices
+ Work under time constraints to meet specific timelines
+ Will be required to work nights and weekends as requested and travel periodically
+ Report time worked and equipment and consumables used timely and accurately
+ Attend BELFOR sponsored operations and safety training courses as required
Requirements
+ Extensive supervision of labor on residential, light commercial projects, industrial or institutional experience
+ Supervise large crews of 20+ or multiple crews simultaneously comprised of personnel with mixed skill sets
+ Recognize and situations where altering the scope is advisable or situations where a more efficient process is advisable and recommend alternate solutions to appropriate team members to make final decision
+ Determine and execute the best technique for deodorization and/or corrosion mitigation techniques unsupervised
+ Maintaining equipment used in daily tasks
+ Additional other duties as required
