The base pay for this position is $64,000 - $70,500 per year. The base pay offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
About the Role & Team
As a Creative Operations Associate, you’ll play a key role in streamlining the creative workflow for the Retail Signage Production Team. You’ll partner with cross-functional teams including Visual Presentation, Brand Creative, Creative Operations, Marketing and Store Operations partners to manage print production projects that drive efficiency, elevate quality, and reinforce our brand’s value.
Your focus will be on optimizing how we work: interacting with our external print vendors, juggling tight timelines, balancing budgets, and coordinating with field employees on delivery and installation. You'll oversee end-to-end project delivery while contributing to long-term planning and process evolution.
The Creative Operations team is the engine behind the Wayfair Creative Group, ensuring every step, from intake to final delivery, runs smoothly. Our diverse team of project managers, producers, analysts, and QA experts supports a culture of operational excellence, creativity, and innovation. We operate on a monthly planning cycle using Agile-lite methodologies and Airtable.
What You’ll Do
+ Facilitate excellent print production management as it relates to: time, cost and communication, ensuring vendor output matches Wayfair’s quality and service expectations
+ Manage multiple high-priority projects from kickoff through final delivery
+ Create and maintain timelines, track progress with external partners, QA production files, and share status updates with the internal cross function partners
+ Identify opportunities to improve workflows using data and cross-functional feedback
+ Partner with key cross-functional teams to streamline processes and ensure timely, on-brief execution
+ Support a culture of learning through retrospectives and knowledge sharing
Qualifications
+ 1+ years of experience in project management, creative operations, print production, or related fields
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
+ Strong written, visual, and verbal communication skills across teams and levels
+ Proven ability to collaborate, take initiative, and drive results
+ A problem-solving mindset with adaptability in a fast-paced, evolving environment as Wayfair’s Physical Retail organization and fleet scales
+ Balanced understanding of both creative and business perspectives
+ Excellent prioritization and decision-making skills when navigating multiple completing priorities simultaneously
+ A team-oriented attitude, with a proactive and forward-thinking approach
+ Exposure to print production and Adobe Suite, is a plus
