    Job Summary

    Responsible for overseeing the management of operations at the Metro Fulfillment Centers (MFC) and providing support to the team within the designated division. Developing and implementing operational strategies, resolving operational issues, and offering direction and guidance to both district and divisional teams. Acts as a liaison between Field Operations, Enterprise Distribution Centers (EDC), and the MFC.

    Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities

    + Leads and manages all division-wide operational strategy rollouts, budgets, and performance goals.

    + Communicates and reports operational updates to district and regional leadership.

    + Collaborates with the manager, General Manager, and regional leadership to determine and execute the operational plan.

    + Identifies market opportunities to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction.

    + Ensures operational activities are conducted within the approved expense budget; implements process improvements to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.

    + Collects, analyzes, and submits operational data and reports as needed.

    + Develops or assists in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to support safe and efficient operations.

    + Supports change management processes and policies at the division level.

    + Partners with EDC management to identify and resolve operational challenges.

    Nature and Scope

    + Solutions require analysis and investigation.

    + Achieves planned results by decisions and actions based on professional methods, business principles, and practical experience. May recommend/make decisions regarding new programs/initiatives that have significant impact to the business and carry consequences in unsuccessful endeavors.

    + Manages a larger team or multiple small teams through direction of subordinate management and/or supervisory staff.

    Work Environment

    + Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

    + Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

    + Typically requires overnight travel 5% to 20% of the time.

    Education and Experience

    + Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 7+ years of experience in a related field. May require certification. Advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines.

    Preferred Qualifications

    + 7+ years of experience in branch or operations management, or in a related field

    + Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

    + Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

    Pay Range

     

    $117,800.00-$187,600.00 Annual

     

    California law requires the posting of the salary range for advertised jobs. This range is determined based on market data and internal pay practices to establish a minimum and maximum value for a job. Individual base pay is determined based on a variety of elements including experience, skills, internal equity and other factors.
