Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to lead a multi-year program of retail and restaurant build-outs within Miami International Airport (MIA). This role is ideal for someone with deep experience navigating the complexities of active airport environments and managing multiple tenant improvement (TI) and renovation projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee 30–40 retail and restaurant projects over a 3+ year program within MIA terminals.

Manage 5–10 direct reports, including general contractors and subcontractors.

Coordinate with airport officials, tenants, and brand operators (e.g., HMS Host Evolta brands) to ensure smooth execution.

Lead construction efforts for terminal-based projects including restrooms, renovations, and retail/restaurant build-outs.

Review and redline architectural plans to minimize scope gaps and ensure compliance.

Maintain project documentation and workflows using Procore, Bluebeam, and PDF editing tools.

Ensure all work meets airport, tenant, and regulatory standards.

Skills and Requirements

10+ years of construction management experience, ideally in airport retail/restaurant environments.

Prior experience at Miami International Airport (MIA) strongly preferred.

Proven ability to manage 10+ projects concurrently in high-security, operationally complex environments.

Strong understanding of airport logistics, permitting, and stakeholder coordination.

Experience with TI projects, ground-up builds, or multi-trade architectural work.

Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, and PDF editing software is required.

Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management is a plus (not required).

Must be able to work programmatically and administratively—this is a Project Management role, not focused on infrastructure (mechanical/electrical). Ability to read and redline plans with precision.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Experience working with branded operators and managing GC relationships.
