About the role:
The Utility Marketing Manager holds a key strategic position at Carrier Energy, guiding the launch of battery-enabled HVAC systems through effective partnerships with utilities and delivering ongoing adoption and marketing results. This role is responsible for developing clear, compelling campaigns and messaging that connect with utility customers and homeowners. Working closely with utility account managers and marketing teams, the manager creates engaging digital experiences and co-marketing materials, monitors campaign results, and continually improves marketing strategies to strengthen the customer journey. This position is crucial for building lasting relationships with utilities and homeowners, consistently supporting Carrier’s dedication to quality, sustainability, and innovative solutions for the future.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Deliver market-ready Carrier Energy marketing campaigns and messaging for utilities and utility customers.
+ Lead marketing campaign and performance for utility program set up and launch
+ Ongoing adoption/campaign development and optimization
+ Design and lead development for digital experience to support Carrier Energy solution sales with utility program alignment
+ Lead collaboration on co-marketing assets and campaign development
+ Launch utility program marketing campaigns to support channel execution alongside Utility program requirements
**Integrated Marketing** :
+ Leads the development and execution of integrated marketing strategies that align messaging, branding, and campaigns across paid, owned and earned media. Responsible for creating and implementing a unified marketing plan that supports business objectives, enhances brand reputation across all channels, elevates the brand, engages key audiences, and positions the company competitively in the marketplace. This role partners closely with cross-functional teams including Carrier Energy Key Account Management, product management, sales, and technical marketing to define competitive market opportunities and deliver demand-generating campaigns that support specific product families and services. It also ensures consistency and impact across the customer journey by aligning content and messaging with the broader corporate strategy.
**Marketing Communications** :
+ Specializes in developing, planning, implementing and measuring marketing messaging programs. Creates and delivers compelling content and messaging to promote products, services and initiatives that align with sales and business objectives. Designs, develops and implements communication programs to support specific paid media efforts. Implements communication plans across various channels—including digital, print, broadcast and events—to drive awareness, engagement and brand preference.
**Experiential Marketing** :
+ Plans and executes live, in-person and hybrid experiences that bring the brand to life to customers, partners and employees. Responsible for the overall project management of impactful programs and events from the beginning of planning to the wrap-up communication and post-event evaluation, including customer events, trade shows, sponsorship activations and internal engagement to drive awareness and engagement.
**Brand Marketing** :
+ Responsible for all aspects of a brand’s marketing, advertising and promotional activities to ensure brand consistency and alignment. Responsible for the brand architecture and governance, determining the structure of the brand portfolio, establishing brand guidelines (visual identity, tone of voice, etc.) and maintaining consistency across all touchpoints. Oversee the implementation of the guidelines to ensure governance and compliance.
**Strategic Marketing** :
+ Supports and manages the development of branding initiatives including enterprise, segment, brand positioning and alignment in the portfolio. Develops and implements portfolio strategy in collaboration with BU cross-functional partners. Creates and maximizes marketing strategies and brand platforms to grow brands and brand awareness for the enterprise and go-to-market brands. Helps build and maintain the reputation and identity of a company’s brand. Plans and delivers integrated marketing campaigns using customer insights to develop appropriate elements of the marketing mix in support of sales and marketing objectives by developing campaigns with effective messaging and imagery working with marketing and creative partners.
Required Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree
+ 10 + years of experience in Marketing
+ 5 + years of experience in Marketing within the utility industry
+ Ability to travel up to 30% domestically
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Master’s degree with minimum of 7 years of experience in marketing
+ Proven success in launching multi-channel marketing and PR campaigns for innovative solutions for utility customers
