    Job Description

    Insight Global is looking for a passionate and technically skilled SDET to join a client's team and help drive quality across our cloud-based platforms. This is a growth-oriented opportunity where you’ll work with modern technologies, expand your skill set, and contribute to high-impact projects.

     

    The role will be a remote/in-office hybrid with a requirement of 3 days onsite in Vancouver, WA. The first 30-60 days will be fully in-office for training purposes.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and tools for cloud-based applications.

    • Perform load and performance testing using tools like LoadNinja, JMeter, or similar (tool agnostic).

    • Collaborate with developers and QA engineers to ensure robust test coverage across the stack.

    • Write and maintain test cases using Cucumber, Gherkin, and Selenium.

    • Conduct API testing using Postman and other relevant tools.

    • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous integration and deployment pipelines.

    • Support database testing and data manipulation tasks, including resets and validations.

    • Mentor junior team members and contribute to leadership initiatives if applicable.

    Skills and Requirements

    • Cloud experience across major platforms; preference for Azure, followed by AWS and GCP.

    • Strong Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) background in C# or Java.

    • Proven experience in load or performance testing—ideally with the ability to write custom tests.

    • Familiarity with Cucumber, Gherkin, Selenium, and Postman.

    • Solid understanding of software testing principles and QA methodologies. • Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

    • Background in database development or data manipulation.

    • Prior leadership experience in QA or development teams.

    • Exposure to API testing and microservices architecture.
