Job Description
An employer in Houston, TX is looking for ServiceNow Architect to join their team. This person will be responsible for taking the lead on solving challenges across the full breadth of IT service delivery and enabling people to deliver value across multiple business units. On a day-to-day basis the main responsibilities will be to design, configure, and develop ServiceNow applications with a primary focus on ITOM (Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, CMDB) and CSM (case management, portals, workflows). This person will also be helping create and implement new workflows, business rules, and UI pages using ServiceNow's scripting languages and web technologies. Developing and maintaining custom integrations between ServiceNow and other IT systems. Improving the architecture by consulting with platform architects, promoting innovative approaches, and sharing knowledge. Performing system administrative and development functions within the ServiceNow platform which includes, configuration and customization of the system. Performing system upgrade related activities including testing, troubleshooting, debugging, & fixing defects. This person will also be working heavily with ServiceNow reporting and helping with existing reports along with creating new reports based on business needs. Candidate will also be working with our ticketing system to help resolve user's issues on a daily basis. This individual must have strong communication skills as they will be interacting with multiple groups and individuals. Based on knowledge and years of experience, this position offers a pay range of $70-80/hr.

Skills and Requirements
8+ years of ServiceNow development experience
Strong understanding and knowledge of the different ServiceNow modules specifically IT Operations Management (ITOM) & Customer Service Management (CSM)
Previous experience leading a team and solutioning architecture
Hands on experience troubleshooting and supporting ITOM (Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management and CMDB)
Hands on experience troublshooting and supporting CSM (Case Management, portals, workflows, and integrations)
Strong understanding and experience working with ServiceNow reporting and creating reports
Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide API, Jelly, AngularJS).
Experience working with the latest ServiceNow versions Utah, Vancouver, and/or Xanadu
Willing and able to provide day-to-day and after-hours support (24x7) as required
Knowledge and understanding of basic software development concepts ServiceNow Certifications
Familiarity with DevOps and Agile concepts and methodologies
Familiarity with Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) concepts
Previous O&G industry experience
