NeuroRestorative, a part of the Sevita family, provides rehabilitation services for people of all ages with brain, spinal cord and medically complex injuries, illnesses and other challenges. In a variety of locations and community-based settings, we offer a range of programs, including vocational and therapy programs, day treatments, and specialized services for infants, children, adolescents, Military Service Members and Veterans.
Our beautiful, six bed NeuroRestorative facility located in Goleta, California provides residential and day program rehabilitation services for individuals who have experienced brain, spinal cord and other life-altering injuries and medically-complex illnesses. We offer in-patient treatment in a residential home-like setting to individuals of all ages, which includes Neurorehabilitation, respite, post-acute, and sub-acute care.

As a **Therapeutic Yoga Instructor,** you will be responsible for developing safe, professional and comprehensive Yoga/stretching/relaxation classes for our individuals.
In this role your tasks will be diversified and you will be supporting our mission:
+ Provide Yoga instruction for program participants with traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and/or orthopedic trauma.
+ Develop and implement Yoga plans for individuals and small groups of varying abilities and experience.
+ Monitors and instructs individuals served during Yoga sessions by educating them on correct form, making modifications as appropriate, and presenting alternative poses.
+ Cleans and organizes Yoga room, mats, props and other materials before and after each group session
+ Completes and submits accurate daily documentation of sessions in a timely manner
+ Complies with all company safety practices, procedures and policies
+ Be willing to help out in other capacities across the program as needed, including, but not limited to, working with participants in vocational sessions and other structured activities, assist with their ADL's, and provide assistance to program participants when they arrive and/or are departing the building.
Yoga Instructor
+ Salary Range: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour (based on experience)
+ Schedule: 40 hours/week; Monday-Friday, some weekends
+ Valid driver’s license in good standing with car registration and vehicle insurance **required**
+ Yoga Instructor certification required
+ Current CPR & First Aid certifications required

Qualifications
+ Certified Yoga Instructor
+ Current CPR and First Aid
+ Effective communication skills to manage relationships
+ A reliable, responsible attitude and a compassionate approach
+ A commitment to quality in everything you do
+ 6 months of experience working in the area of Yoga
+ Training Requirements During Employment: Complete all assigned training, including the successful completion of the IFSSA/DDARS waiver training module
Physical Requirements
+ Heavy work. Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
