This position is a first shift with a flexible 9/80 schedule and every other Friday off!
In this role you will be providing technical support to Manufacturing Operations in the form of enabling and improving the flow of product through manufacturing utilizing the disciplines of industrial and mechanical engineering. This role will provide technical guidance and support for electronics assembly processes and materials.
+ New product introduction support and Design for Manufacturing analysis.
+ Data analysis and process improvement in areas
+ Future road map creation and execution in area
+ Capacity and capability analysis for the area
+ Responsible for technical problem definition and solution in manufacturing environment. Interfaces with design engineering on incorporating changes to the designs which improve manufacturability.
+ Determines the most efficient sequence of operations and work flow, and establishes methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel
+ Conducts studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control through the application of Lean principles.

+ Perform assignments requiring use and application of standard engineering economics and product development principles and techniques.
+ Understands and considers how facility design and layout for manufacturing processes and equipment affect economic factors, process flow, operator efficiency and comfort in performance of job duties.
Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
+ H.S. Diploma or GED
+ 4 year Bachelors degree in Engineering or Technical discipline
+ 2 years work experience.
+ Microsoft Products (Excel, Word, & PowerPoint)
+ MES experience (Manufacturing execution system)
+ Experience and success with Problem Solving
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
+ Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for military hardware, ensuring compliance with stringent quality and safety standards while maximizing efficiency and productivity
+ Conduct thorough analyses of production workflows and resource allocation, utilizing data-driven methodologies to identify bottlenecks and recommend strategic enhancements.
+ Prepare detailed documentation and reports on process improvements, project progress, and performance metrics, presenting findings to management and stakeholders to support decision-making.
+ Conduct thorough evaluations of new designs, identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions, while maintaining the integrity and performance standards required for military applications
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $84882 - $144300

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
