Job Description
A federal client is seeking a Counselor to serving troubled youth for two social programs. One is a Residential location in Albuquerque, NM serving troubled youth between the ages of 13-17. Another is supporting similar youth at a Transitional Housing program. The Counselor will manage a caseload by performing a mixture of case management and clinical responsibilities. The Counselor will assist with intakes, conducting assessments, make connections to community resources, conduct individual and group therapeutic services, and perform clinical interventions.
Salary: $60k-$75k

Skills and Requirements
Masters degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology or other related fields.
Valid drivers license and personal vehicle
Comfortable passing a background check, drug test, child welfare checks, and FBI fingerprints. Experience working with CYFD and foster care youth.
Bilingual in both English and Spanish
Prior clinical experience performing individual and group counseling to minors.
Clinical licensure from the state of New Mexico (LPC, LCPC, LMHC, LCSW, LMFT)
