    Job Description

    The goal of this position is to provide operational support for a post-production engineering group within a major studio. It serves to support the director and senior leadership of this group(which is heavily unionized).

    Responsibilities

    - Oversee the procurement cycle from forecast to project to purchasing to inventory to project engineer in conjunction with responsible managers

     

    - Facilitates the annual maintenance contract process, including inventory to renewal validation and payment

     

    - Coordinates fiscal planning with Project and Program Management tracked initiatives

     

    - Coordinates with Change Management interface between Change processes and engineering teams for maintenance windows, including the articulation of change details and impacts, and negotiating windows with client groups

     

    - Performs contract administration for SoWs associated with projects and with managed service contractor workforce

     

    - Facilitate the acquisition of equipment or software with casual buyer

     

    - Coordinate team projects or other gatherings

    Skills and Requirements

     

    - 3+ years' experience in a technology project management/coordination

     

    - Ability to work under pressure while managing multiple tasks and organizing work effectively.

     

    - Experience with project management and collaboration tools: SmartSheet, MS Teams, PowerPoint or similar software

     

    - Strong written and oral communications skills.

     

    - Ideal experience in the following areas: past coordination experience to help consolidate ordering and purchasing

     

    - Budget tracking and coordination

     

    - Ordering supplies and facilities related responsibilities

     

    - Experience/understanding of capital budget and expenses

     

    - Hybrid role (4x per week onsite in Burbank)

     

    - BS Degree or equivalent experience - Media & Entertainment Industry experience, specifically Studio Technology or Film/TV Production Technology

     

    - Experience working with unions, 3rd party vendors(for hardware and resources)

     

    - Has leveraged Business Intelligence/reporting tools to help make informed business decisions(the PMO leverages PowerBI for reporting purposes and leverages Smartsheet's/Jira for data(integrates with PowerBI)
