    Insight Global is seeking a Customer Technical Support Specialist based in Dahlgren, Virginia. This Specialist must have a Secret clearance and a Sec+. This Specialist must also have 2+ years' experience delivering customer support and resolving technical issues that includes network systems and troubleshooting hardware and software. This role requires experience working in a help desk setting, pinpointing issues and explain effective solutions for common system failures, along with overseeing organizational mailboxes, making sure that users with assistance requests are promptly and effectively being supported. A strong background with Microsoft Office tools and supporting users with data migrations with refreshes is also important. Another responsibility includes overseeing organizational mailboxes, making sure that users with assistance requests are promptly and effectively being supported. This Specialist must have experience supporting public folder management, including assisting with the maintenance and administration of shared folders), and assisting IT data calls with the Department Information Officer (DIO). They will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining shared network drives, training managers on how to update content and ensuring changes and updates to derives are secure and accurate. Contributing status updates and progress reports on a monthly basis to improve the organization and ensure that all IT procedures are accurately followed is another important aspect of the role. This Specialist must have strong communication skills to work alongside team members and external contacts and also be able to work independently, along with high analytical and multitasking skills to solve IT problems with users. The salary for this role ranges from $50,000-$60,000, depending on experience.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    -Secret clearance, Sec+, and high school diploma

     

    -2+ years' experience delivering customer support and resolving technical issues that includes network systems and troubleshooting hardware and software

     

    -Experience working in a help desk setting, pinpointing issues and explain effective solutions for common system failures

     

    -Skilled in overseeing organizational mailboxes, making sure that users with assistance requests are promptly and effectively being supported

     

    -Experience supporting public folder management, including assisting with the maintenance and administration of shared folders)

     

    -Experience assisting IT data calls with the Department Information Officer (DIO)

    -Strong analytical and multitasking skills to support members with solving IT problems -Bachelor's degree

     

    -Experience with installing, maintaining, and managing computer systems within LAN and WAN environments

     

    -Experience working with Windows Active Directory and an understanding of NMCI policies and procedures

     

    -Knowledge of Department of Defense (DOD) security and networking protocols and procedures
