Job Description

REQ NOTES:

- Focus on building AI agents using Java and MCP servers; Angular/UI experience is a plus.

- Must be strong in Java — no time to train; looking for 6–7 years of hands-on experience with both new and older technologies.

- Candidates who only have chatbot or REST API integration experience ARE NOT A FIT

- Looking for experience in developing AI-ready applications (e.g., embedding AI into internal apps).

- Avoid profiles that only “add chatbots to microservices” — need candidates who understand what’s running inside the microservice.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with microservices architecture.

• Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Exposure to DevOps pipelines and cloud-native deployments

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement scalable and high-performance APIs and UI components.

• Lead and contribute to development efforts primarily using Java 25, Spring Boot 3.x, Hibernate/Spring Data, and REST Web Services.

• Apply strong functional and reactive programming principles in building robust back-end systems using R2DBC.

• Contribute to AI-driven projects, including MCP server, RAG-based systems, chatbots, and prompt engineering.

• Develop and maintain front-end applications using Angular, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery within Agile frameworks.

• Utilize tools such as JIRA, GitHub, and Jenkins for project tracking, version control, and CI/CD.

• Leverage AWS or other cloud platforms for application deployment and scalability.

• Work independently as well as collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.

Skills and Requirements

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in full stack development.

• Strong proficiency in Java 25, Spring Boot 3.x, RESTful Web Services, Hibernate/Spring Data, and R2DBC.

• Practical experience in functional and reactive programming.

• Exposure to Python for backend or AI-related integrations.

• Experience developing AI applications, including chatbots, RAG systems, and prompt-based solutions.

• Solid understanding of front-end technologies: TypeScript, Angular, HTML, CSS, and related frameworks.

• Familiarity with Agile development practices and associated tools (JIRA, GitHub, Jenkins).

• Working knowledge of cloud platforms, preferably AWS.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across teams.
