    Job Description

    Insight Global is looking to hire a technician for a 3-month contract role for a client of ours in Ames, IA. This candidate will be working with internet. The hiring manager is looking for someone who can be trusted to get work done in a timely and professional manner. Candidates will be expected to follow direction from the Project Manager, and also a PM Tool called Base Camp that lays out project details and to-dos.

     

    $18/hr to $28/hr.

     

    Work involves an apartment complex in San Marcos, TX, focusing on outside plant installation. Tasks include setting up outdoor enclosures, running conduit to attics, pulling and terminating Ethernet cables, performing punch-downs on panels, pulling fiber, and installing routers in each unit.

     

    Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

     

    Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
