• Security System Engineer

    Job Description

    We are looking for an Engineer to join the team immediately. This is supporting a state funded project, and will be remote but require 10% travel for site surveys in New York State. Below is a summary of the position:

     

    • Lead the development of integrated electronic security system designs including access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and related technologies.

    • Collaborate with Strategic Account Managers and clients to define requirements, scope of work, and detailed technical specifications.

    • Prepare and review engineering estimates, system layouts, submittal documentation, and technical drawings.

    • Support the sales process by delivering compelling technical presentations and proposals.

    • Serve as a technical expert and escalation point during installation and commissioning phases.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    3+ years of experience in electronic security installation and integration

    1+ year of experience in design experience ideally - creating BOMs and SOWs

    Extensive knowledge of security platforms such as Genetec, Software House, Lenel, Axis, Avigilon, Exacq, or Milestone. Bachelor's preferred
