Job Description
We are hiring an instrument tech to join a leading chemical plant’s utilities group focused 100% on calibrating pressure, temperature, and flow instruments and probes. You’ll complete your daily responsibilities using industry-standard equipment (Rosemount for measurement, Fluke for testing) to ensure all meters are accurate and compliant. Expect to complete about 30 calibrations per month—roughly one per day—making this a manageable and structured role with plenty of upward mobility.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform monthly calibrations on pressure, temperature, and flow meters and probes.
• Use Rosemount and Fluke equipment to test and verify instrument accuracy.
• Document all calibration activities according to SOPs and compliance standards.
• Travel between plant locations as needed (company vehicle provided).
• Work safely and efficiently in a chemical plant environment, following all procedures.

Skills and Requirements
Must Haves:
• 1-2 years’ experience in calibration, instrumentation, or related field
• Experience working in an industrial, chemical, food, or healthcare environment
• GED or high school diploma; basic math & documentation skills
• Ability to follow SOPs and understand importance of compliance and safety Plusses:
• Experience with SCADA, PLCs, RTUs or VFDs
Knowledge of the National Electrical Code
