Our client is looking for a Software Engineering Lead to join their team in Berkley Heights, NJ. A Java Technical Lead plays a crucial role in guiding the development team, making architectural decisions, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects.

Skills and Requirements

- 10+ years software engineering experience (Java 17 or higher)

- Strong proficiency in Java programming and its frameworks (Spring, Kubernetes, OOP)

- Spring boot, Restful services, Open shift, NoSQL database

- At least a few years in a leadership or mentoring role

- Knowledge of software architecture principles and design patterns

- Experience working with software security tools like Fortify and Sonatype

- Understands and implements TDD for development - Financial/Fin tech experience
