    Job Description

    An employer in the Galleria area of Houston is looking for a Project Scheduler for the Digital Scope team that supports the planning, scheduling and cost tracking of digital deliverables within their major O&G Capital Projects portfolio. On a daily basis, Project Scheduler will be responsible for 2 projects schedules. Once project already has a defined schedule so they will need to help with tracking and maintenance in P6 for that project. For the second project, there is no schedule so they will be heavily involved in the development of the schedule plus the tracking and maintenance of if on the move forward. They will also help with some cost tracking and variance analysis. The Scheduler will build visual dashboards so needs to be comfortable using PowerBI or other visualization tools. He/She needs to be comfortable being assigned various tasks as well. They may pull content for monthly and quarterly reports and need to be proficient working with MS PowerPoint and putting together slides. This person must great communication skills as they will work with various stakeholders, executives and will be required to present data during monthly and quarterly reports. Lastly, this person will need to be OK sitting onsite 5 days a week in the Galleria area of Houston. This position pays between $60-$80/hr depending on skillset and previous experience that we will verify with references.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    Recent experience working as a Project Scheduler on O&G Capital Projects

     

    Extensive experience using Primavera P6 for project schedule development and maintenance

     

    Experience managing cost using MS Excel

     

    Experience using PowerBI and/or other reporting tools to develop visual dashboards and performance metrics

     

    Must have experience providing variance analysis

     

    Experience using MS PowerPoint to compile information and metrics to deliver regular reports (monthly and quarterly) on schedule and budget performance for digital scope

     

    Must understand O&G project execution workflows and digital systems implementations

     

    Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills Bachelor's degree in engineering, Project Management or related field
