Conducts and documents QC inspections

Leads first work inspections

Reviews submittals against contract documents

• Project Pursuits & Innovation

Leads pursuit teams and promotes strategic thinking

Encourages innovation and timely submissions

• Estimating & Costing

Performs digital takeoffs and estimates across CSI divisions

Serves as bid captain; presents estimates to leadership

Engages trade partners to understand scopes and costs

• Scheduling

Understands CPM, forward/backward pass, float

Develops and tracks milestones with superintendent

• Value Engineering

Reviews constructability and identifies VE opportunities

Manages VE risks and tracking logs

• Bidding (LS/GMP)

Develops lump sum or GMP proposals

Trains team on bidding processes

Manages bid team and bid day efforts

• Bid Packaging & Buyout

Packages work for competitive bids

Evaluates pricing and ensures best value

Maintains ethical buying practices

• Subcontractor Management

Negotiates scope, pricing, and schedule

Holds subs accountable; manages performance

Partners with field staff; manages all CSI divisions

• Change Order Management

Validates scope, cost, and timeline impacts

Resolves change orders and subcontractor claims

Manages approvals and pricing promptly

• Cost & Budget

Manages budgets and forecasts costs to complete

Processes change orders and owner billing

Reports job profits and quarterly forecasts

• Project Controls

Tracks RFIs, submittals, procurement, and permits

Maintains record drawings and monthly reports

PAY RATE: 50-65/HR

Skills and Requirements

6+ years of Project Management experience for a general contractor or construction firm

Experience managing projects of $30M+ in scope

Cradle to grave project management exposure - pursuits, estimating/costing, schedule development, subcontractor negotiation/management
