• Cybersecurity Engineer TSSCI w/ Poly

    Job Description

    Insight Global is seeking a TSSCI w/ Poly Cybersecurity Engineer to support a large client of ours out of Springfield, VA. This position will be 100% onsite.

    Responsibilities:

    Serve as the primary on-site cybersecurity subject matter expert for several complex DoD physical security systems.

     

    Perform system builds for a variety of system environments including Windows Server and workstation and Redhat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) as well as virtual environments including VMWare, Hyper-V, Nutanix, and Azure Local

     

    Install and configure network environments consisting of Cisco and/or Juniper Layer 2/ Layer 3 switches, Palo Alto Cisco firewalls, load balancers, etc.

     

    Implement DISA STIGs on a wide variety of environments using Group Policy Objects, Ansible, PowerShell, and SQL scripts

     

    Utilize / implement vendor hardening guides for a wide variety of applications and IoT devices

     

    Support production environment Cyber compliance with scans, patching, remediation, STIG updates, Active Directory administration, etc.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    TSSCI with CI Poly

     

    Ability to be onsite 5 days a week in Springfield VA

     

    Experience with Xacta tool

     

    5-7 years in Cybersecurity field

     

    Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field with 7+ years of experience of Masters with 5+ years.

     

    Experience maintaining an ATO and adhering to compliance standards

     

    Familiar with NIST 800-53 security controls and guidelines

     

    Hands on experience with Windows Systems and Servers

     

    Familiar with Virtual Machines (VMWare, Hyper-V, Nutanix, etc)
