Job Description

• Design, build, and maintain custom Shopify themes and features using Liquid, HTML5, CSS/SCSS, and JavaScript (ES6+/React).

• Build and optimize back-end services, custom Shopify apps, and API integrations (Node.js preferred).

• Integrate systems such as payment processors, CRMs, fulfillment, analytics, and subscription tools.

• Optimize Core Web Vitals, page speed, and mobile performance.

• Collaborate with marketing and design teams to roll out promotions and product launches.

• Manage staging environments, Git repositories, and deployment pipelines.

• Troubleshoot bugs, performance issues, and compatibility problems.

• Maintain strong site security, uptime, and scalability standards.

Contribute ideas for improving conversion, automation, and data flow efficiency.

Skills and Requirements

• 5+ years of professional full-stack development experience.

• Strong proficiency with Shopify (Liquid) and front-end technologies (HTML, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript, React, Vue).

• Back-end experience with Node.js / Express or Python / Django.

• Familiarity with Shopify API, GraphQL, and webhooks.

• Comfortable with Git, Shopify CLI, and continuous deployment workflows.

• Experience integrating third-party APIs (Klaviyo, Recharge, Postscript, payment gateways, etc.).

• Strong understanding of web performance optimization and SEO best practices.

• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

• Highly organized and able to thrive in a fast-moving, startup-style environment.
