    Summary This job opportunity is for a SUPERVISORY INTELLIGENCE OPERATIONS SPECIALIST, position description D1508P01, within the 204 INTEL SQ of the New Jersey National Guard. This vacancy announcement is a Title 32, Excepted Service position. Responsibilities As an SUPERVISORY INTELLIGENCE OPERATIONS SPECIALIST, GS-0132-13, you may be expected to accomplish the following:: Directs the activities of the Intelligence Collections, Analysis, Targeting, Systems and Training Readiness and Special Security Officer functions. Serves as the Senior Intelligence Officer (SIO) of the organization and exercises overall oversight of Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) programs and that portion of the Defense Special Security System (DSSS) under the SIO's security cognizance Directly or via representation, assures the ANG input is developed and incorporated into the USAF or Gaining Command-sponsored workshops and conferences convened to develop and/or review the written guidance and directives pertinent to AOC operations and training. Assures that the Joint Force Commander is fully cognizant of pertinent intelligence developments. Facilitates the design, implementation, and evaluation of intelligence collections, analysis, targeting, and dissemination methods and processes to actualize rapid exchange of intelligence information. Performs other duties as assigned Requirements Conditions of Employment Military Requirements Compatible military grade and assignment required prior to the effective date of placement. This is an excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the employing state's National Guard. General Experience Must have the following experience(s): Experience, education, or training which demonstrates administrative, professional, investigative, or technical work requiring the ability to deal effectively with others, to collect, evaluate and organize pertinent facts. Experience preparing clear and concise written reports. Specialized Experience Must have at least 36 months experience, education or training developing and recommending policy, organizing and carrying out specific programs, evaluating and recommending changes in methods of intelligence operations. Experience in administrative, investigative, or technical work which required the applicant to deal effectively with others. Experience collecting, evaluating and organizing pertinent facts and to analyze and prepare clear and concise reports. Experience in managing the function of the work to be performed. Experience which includes leading, directing and assigning work of personnel.
